La propriété se situe sur un terroir de graves au sous-sol argileux. 11 ha de Graves rouge et de 3 ha de Graves blanc. Les vendanges sont manuelles comme pour l’ensemble de nos crus.
La vinification est traditionnelle, le rouge est élevé durant 1 an en barriques renouvelées par tiers tous les ans, les blancs sont vinifiés et élevés en barriques 100% neuves durant 1 an. + d’informations …
Château Respide-Médeville is situated on the summit of the first gravel hill north of Langon. The view over the Garonne valley and its vineyards is superb. The vineyard is spread out around the Château on a mosaic of terroirs: at the summit can be found large areas of deep gravel for the Cabernet Sauvignon with a plot of yellow clay in the slope.
